    This is BS. Sounds more like he made a mess and they didn't want to deal with that for 72 hours so they killed him because they thought they had a good excuse. What about a lost dog that's missed its dose of arthritis medication for a couple of days? As an animal lover who does rescue and rehab this is inexcusable. I'd sue them to get rid of anyone who authorized this.

    No wonder adoption agencies from our state, constantly go to TX to bring back animals on the euth list and find them great homes.
  • Not sure why this is a story on MN news but I'm leaning with the shelter on this one. Something just doesn't seem right with this so called bereaved owner.
