  • The prettiest and most poetic way Artificial Intelligence has been portrayed. "Through eyes serene the very pulse of the machine".

I really don't even know why I loved this episode so much, but it made me feel something. I'm not used to media evoking whatever it was in me that it did.

"Ir you are a machine, then what is your function? To know you." Always tears me down
  • In between stories of hopeless cosmic horror and biting satire, LD&R hit us with this gem. Where instead of a cold, predatory universe, something in the vastness of space chose to be kind.

This is amazing! I broke down when I saw this episode. It struck somewhere deep but still struggling to understand why. The way Io communicated through poetry in Burton's brain was magnificent. Hands down my favorite episode from season 3.

When she fell down the acid it was both beautiful and absolutely terrifying.

For some animation, you have to put yourself into a mindset that you want to feel something. This means that a person who doesn't want to like it usually won't. What this episode does is force you into that mindset. If you haven't been there much or at all then it'll be a strange experience. You won't know why you liked it or perhaps you can pick a few bits that made you feel... Strange. Either way, you are experiencing awe.

During one of my Ayahuasca experiences I had the revelation this planet & all other planets are alive & we are just life within life... no separation, only the illusion of it. So this story hit home on a personal level. Plus the artwork reminded me of the original heavy metal cartoon from 81

What is waiting for me beyond the horizon? Maybe Death, Maybe life... Maybe I'm gonna live forever, or maybe this is just one last dream before dying. ✨❤️

I’ve always had this longing to see and experience more than the earth. I fucking hate being stuck on this shitty rock. This episode brought tears to my eyes, it hit me so fucking hard. I wish I could experience the cosmos….

Truly excellent episode! Held me spellbound. The art work reminds me of Moebius' style..another huge plus!
