In the 12th century, a fort was built on the southeastern side of Honshu island and later it became a castle. By the 18th century, it had become one of the largest cities in the world, and we are talking about Tokyo, the modern capital of Japan. We invite you to enjoy the flight over this magnificent Japanese city brightened by the illumination!

Don't forget that this is 360 video: you can change the angle of view.

We regularly publish new 360 videos of the most beautiful places on our planet!

360° photos and videos, stories of our shootings, articles and FAQ you can find on our website: AirPano.com/

Nowadays you need extraordinary computer power for watching 8K 360° videos. If you have troubles with watching such videos, choose 4K or HD quality in the settings of your YouTube player. We hope that YouTube will find a solution for optimization this videoformat to make it watchable for common users.

Also here is the answer for a frequently asked question about true resolution of an 8K 360° video. Unlike standard videos, in a 360° video you can see only a part of original image (approximately 30 degrees out of 360). As result, the real resolution of the part you can see isn't bigger than 1.3K.

That was truly surreal. I wanted to go there so badly. I am wearing a VR headset and I teared up a little bit.haha. So beautiful.

As Japanese, I can say that this is one of the best vids ever I’ve seen on YouTube. Thank you for uploading this

I've waited so long for this video! Thank you for returning to this project. I really wish I could watch an uncompressed version of this.

I just watched my first 360º video in VR and it felt amazing.

Absolutely beautiful views at night, looks amazing on the quest 3 in 4k

Fantastic Arial footage! I've been to Tokyo almost 20 years ago. Time flies. Anywho, this gives me a great view where everything was in relation to each other. Very cool! While 8K is pretty great, I can't wait for even better resolution in the future so we can experience this type of stuff even more immersively. What is the soothing music use though? I love it!!

Out of all the 360 videos on YouTube, this is the clearest one! Still blurry, but better! I subscribed👍

It's great.Would have been better if it had 12K resolution like the trailer. Tokyo is spread out very far, so the detailed city lights in the distance would have been clearly visible.

youtube only offers 4k on this, but the title says 8k. Other youtube videos I am coming across are offering 8k. Whats up with this one? (I did notice 8k (on other videos) is only offered on my desktop with a RTX3080 and not on my desktop with an intel integrated GPU, but this one isnt offering it on either)

Me: playing and turning around in the 360° mode Narrator: "to the right, you can find the trainstation" Me: where tf is right
  • I love Japan, so I enjoyed you talking about it while I was flying over the city. With cheap blurry VR glasses it felt like I was living in an old movie, especially the train part. Amazing experience.

I can't believe it actually happened, I thought the trailer 3 years ago was all we were going to get!
