His only flaw is that he’s not a free throw merchant man what a goat
  • @Shadlik
As a long time Nuggets fan getting to watch Jokic develop his game into what it is today has truly been a once in a lifetime experience. He is an artist.

The funniest part of Jokic's game: he has managed to turn not jumping into an asset in the NBA. That is so ironic and beautiful.

This man spends all summer necking pints and racing horses then drops 30 12 and 8 on ur favourite team. Whats not to love
  • @chrilpy
Idk how people find him boring and say he has no personality. He’s so fun to watch and he’s funny as hell

Jokic was the tank, the support and the damage dealer in one character from RPG Games.

For a guy who gets constantly mocked for being "unathletic," that is some absolutely insane footwork letting him blow past defenders.
  • @VoltaDoMar
I appreciate that you focused on how effective he is moving without the ball. I don't think that gets talked about enough. He's one of the best off ball players in the NBA. Jamal Murray is pretty good on and off ball too, and I think this is the key to their effectiveness as a duo

On the top of that, he is the most unselfish player I have ever seen! Too humble, too efficient, too good.

Jokic is one of the greatest to do it. Been a nuggets fan for a long time and jokic has given me so much joy and happiness. It’s just so amazing to see one of the greatest in a nuggets jersey.

As good of a breakdown of Jokić as I have seen. Well done sir!
  • @jonathanlgill
I know it's petty, but I can't resist in pointing out the irony that the one hole in his offensive game that you identified (lack of selling contact) is what Embiid excels at.

This is the video JJ Reddick had in his mind's eye when SAS said Jokic doesn't have a post game 💀

Brilliant analysis. Emphasizing Jokic's scoring is something not many analysts have done.

Finally, a Jokic video that focuses on a strength of his that everyone breezes past because he's such a great passer and Shooter. The Post Game baby!!! Don't get me wrong, I love the sizzly passes and the ridiculous shot-making. But man, I don't know if I enjoy anything more than watching him work in the post dominating guys way more vertically athletic than him.
  • @gothamlab
Guy is an absolute phenomenon and potential GOAT
  • Jokic is a basketball genius and this is something that we never saw in basketball at this level he is like all his skills are 99 .
  • @cosmix1
I can't wait to see what never-seen-before nonsense he does this season

WTH did I just watch? This work fits right in with anything Ben Taylor from Thinking Basketball has done. The level of detail you provided just for his scoring game is impressive. I mean, when I saw the vid is 22 mins long, I was expecting you to spend like half of it talking about his all-time great passing cause I wasn't expecting anyone to go over Jokic's scoring game with this fine-toothed of a comb. But you had so much insight into his scoring game, you were able to use all 22 mins breaking only that down. Impressive work man. Also, props for getting the pronunciation of his first name correctly. My man Ben Taylor is starting to slip with his "Nikola" pronunciation in his recent Jokic videos 😅.

When his career is over, he’s going to be regarded as maybe the best center ever. We’ve never seen this before. Crazy.
