Dear Robbie, the main reason I love watching is you have a budget and stress over spending money which a lot of us do!! Makes you very relatable. But with a budget you still have a beautiful garden and I think that is what we all strive for!

OMG Robbie, I totally get it! I don't go on vacations, highlight my hair, go out to eat, or buy new clothes or shoes, all my money goes into my garden. But it's a life choice I've made and I live simple but super blessed and happy sharing my garden with all my neighbors and people who pass by and see it. I feel like god blesses me with everything I need and I'm so grateful! A lady who walks by my garden jumped out of the car today and asked if she could donate to my garden and blessed me with a $10 bill. Wow! god is great!!! Is'nt it funny when you come home with plants, you feel like you need to hide.? I always get that response, "More plants? or Don't you have enough plants?" ugggh, they just don't understand!!! You never have enough plants!!!!!🤣 But anyways, it was fun watching you buy all those beautiful plants today. I wish we had nice plants in Hawaii. Nothing nice. Can't even get Proven winners or Monrovia plants! So sad! But I guess it's for the best, I'd probably go bankrupt. Til next time!!!

Robbie you never have to explain your purchases to a fellow gardener, I think MOST of us have plant lust ? Some of us have to wait a little longer to buy everything we would like, but when you find something or things you really really like you need to get them before they’re gone because in my experience once they’re gone you can never find them back again. At least that’s my excuse to myself. 😂💐💚🙃

I’m a retired accountant and I don’t think you should have to justify your purchases. It’s not really anyone else’s business and you know what makes sense for your budget. I’m glad you were able to get those pots, it’s a great savings. I see buying plants as making an investment in my home. Granted, annuals only last a year, but they make such an impact and fill holes in my garden for a season, so I add them to my budget.

Robbie you work hard and you know exactly what you are doing! No one should judge you. What is that saying?, “the harder I work the luckier I get”. Every time you plant, just say “I earned this.”
