I recently watched Adventure Time: Distant Lands by myself. I was saving it for when I could watch it with someone I grew up with, like we did years ago. It's been 6 years since the original show's season finale, and the person who I would have watched the sequel with is no longer around. I realized the day I was waiting for will not come. But... I also realized that it's okay for things to not always go as you had planned.
Everything stays, but it seems like a lot of things go too.

I used to sing this song to my niece when I'd carry her around our backyard. It's been stuck in my head for the past 8 years lol. I figured now that I'm actually trying to produce music, I should try to make a proper cover of it... perhaps with a slight twist: "What if Finn wrote it?" This video is the "Finn" version. The fact that the second verse is changed from talking about the ocean to the visuals showing the tree house really shows the change in character and perspective, and it’s so touching, amazing work!

This just captured the beatiful backstory backstory of every character while also having a deeper message and touching the heart strings of people who haven't even seen the show yet. Adventure time means so much to so many and you really did it justice with this edit / cover!

This, this song reminds me of simpler times, but just like how the original made me feel, this rendition makes me feel all sorts of emotions that end up in hope and peace, I hope you the best on the rest of your endeavors and I'm glad I found this channel, keep up the fantastic work!

At the time when I watch, distant lands I became quite distant with the original show but when I got to the Finn and Jake one oh man that brought out the feels especially the ending I think it even nearly brought me to tears and that told me despite me becoming distant with the show for many years, it still meant a lot to me and listen to this version reminded me of that definitely putting this in my playlist

This video just make me remember my late best friend. He loved this show so much, everytime we both hang out he would tell how much he loves this show and we both will talk about it everyday. Sadly he passed away because of cancer, which broke my heart so much. Its been 4 whole years and i still miss him. I would never find someone like him and.. this was his favorite song so im going to say. Thank you. He would loves to listen to this
