I'm so glad there actually is someone making playlists that aren't composed from the same song everyone else used. This is so refreshing!

The story behind this playlist with the line "let's just keep going until we no longer can" (paraphrasing) and the slowly depleting gas tank and timer counting down is making me feel all sorts of emotions 😭 Combined with the serene atmosphere of the music, I just imagine a pilot making peace and enjoying the view for as long as they can before the end they know is coming.

가족사진 나올때 당연히 내가 생각하는 엄마 아빠로 이루어진 형태의 사진을 생각했는데 강아지 한마리...생각해보면 지난번 귀환 플리에서 70년 가까이 냉동수면하면서 혼자 우주탐사 떠날 사람과 같은 주인공인것같은데 가족있는 사람이 그럴 수는 없겠죠...ㅠ처음부터 끝까지 혼자네 이 사람은..

첫번째 곡이 너무 좋아서 조금 찾아봤는데 암투병으로 떠나신 어머니에게 작별인사를 위해 만들었네요 곡을 쓰다가 우연히 90년대의 여동생과 어머니가 정원에서 찍은 사진을 보고 그때 그 시절의 온도와 기억 색깔들을 노래로써 각인시키기 위해 담아냈다고 하네요 알고나니까 더 감명깊게 들리는군요

“Alright, great job everyone! Let’s head back to base.” My team leader’s voice is scratchy through the old transmitters, but the message still brings a smile to my face, and I can’t help but cheer with the others. Another island has been spotted, so more colonists can spread out and off our cramped temporary settlements. With a successful day done, I can take it easy. I flick a switch to bring down my shutters, and sunlight hits my face through the plexiglass windows. My teammates dip and sway their gliders, weaving between one another like the birds that skim over the water. I mimic them, dipping down until my wingtips just touch the surface, and then bursting back up into a barrel roll, sending a spray around and onto nearby gliders. There’s some lighthearted “hey”s from the planes around me. I can hear laughter and chatter through my headset, and smile wider than I have in days. Things are looking up. Humanity is getting a second chance.

I... I dont think words can explain the way this makes me feel properly.. It's like a purely human reaction to a happiness that you so rarely catch a glimpse of. Like a smell in a breeze that you haven't been comforted by since you were younger. It brought me to tears and I hope it brings that same elation to whomever finds themselves listening to this. Thank you, daymoon, for sharing this story with me and so many others.

This just made me imagine a cute little chill exploration videogame with a colorful post-apocalyptic world where you have to guide your glider/plane to different areas and islands to discover a beautiful story. I don't know if it exists, but I'm gonna make it, mark my words, give me a couple of years and you will play it. this is one of the peak of Post apocalyptic music right there, It literally make me feels something i haven't felt in quite a long time, thank you for this masterpiece of music

When I clicked a music playlist, I wasn't expecting a short story and a surprising amount of world building along with it. That was really cool. I don't even know who the characters are, what they are doing, or what they even sound like, but I feel for them.

그냥 가자, 다 닳을때까지. 이 한 문장이 저를 살렸습니다. 끝없는 자기혐오와 많은 실패와 고난이 반복되는 상황에서 참 많이 힘들어했습니다. 이 한 문장을 보는 순간, 제 깊은 마음 속에 있던 무엇인가가 일렁이더군요. 스위치를 탁 누른듯 뭔가 켜진 기분이었습니다. 그래서 저는 제 인생에서 저를 짓누르고있던 모든걸 벗어던지고 그 길로 유럽여행을 하고 있어요. 낮달님이 저를 살리셨고, 활공이라는 플리가 저를 살렸습니다. 이 플리 제목인 ‘활공’처럼 저도 비행기를 타고 활공하는 순간 응어리가 한꺼번에 팍 터지더라구요. 유럽으로 날아가는 그 비행내내 눈물을 흘렸습니다. 그동안 억눌러온 무엇가를 겨우 토해내듯이. 낮달님, 참 감사하고 또 고맙습니다. 저를 살리셨어요.ㅎㅎ

공부에 찌든 고3이에요🥹 입시에 대한 막연한 불안이 쌓여있다가도 이 플리 들으며 공부를 시작하면 잡생각 다 사라지고 온전히 공부에만 집중할 수 있더라구요 언젠간 이 모든 무거운 짐들을 내려놓은 채 자유로이 활공할 수 있는 날이 올 거라 믿으며 하루하루를 헤쳐나가겠습니다

이 채널은 단순히 이미지의 중요성 보다도 네러티브의 중요성을 너무나 잘 아는 듯. 분명 지루할 법한 텍스트인데도 불구하고 계속 흥미를 유발시키면서 검은 화면 뒤에 펼쳐지는 일러스트가 이 모든 플레이리스트의 깊이감을 미친듯이 증폭시켜버림. 그리고 저 계기판. 저거 때문에 영상을 보는 시청자도 그 모든 끝을 받아들이는 듯한 기분을 느끼게 해줌. 진짜로 플레이리스트 채널 중에서는 역대급이 아닐까 싶다.

I love the mix, and also how it's connected to the 'Return to Earth' video. The same planet (GLD-917) was referenced, which implies that the logs are from the same character. Combining the two, we've got a story about a lone astronaut (with no family but their dog) sent into space to examine a potentially new habitable world (discovered too late to save humanity, evidently), returning home after an unnamed apocalypse, searching earth for 10 years to try to find survivors, and when they're about to run out of fuel, just letting go and flying at full speed, enjoying one last moment of peace/calm/fun. Very melancholy, but hauntingly beautiful. I love it, and it fits the music perfectly. I'll have to look through the rest of the videos to see if there's other connections that add to this.
