Padding will be added! Sometimes we don't have time to do all the finishing touches on a project before the video comes out, so especially in the Hacklorian series, little adjustments and detail work will be done before the final test video =) In this case, padding, and maybe, just maybe, thermal/HUD etc!
-
You need some padding in it so that it’s comfortable and doesn’t just rock around on top of your skull.
-
At least here we have no firearm demonetization) Awesome work!
-
As an historical armourer, to make a "dome"/skull for a helmet we heat the metal and dish it into a round dishing form usually made from a stump by hammering it into the form. Afterwards we would smooth out everything by planishing, which is like polishing with a hammer. Then we would polish it with sandpaper and such. Most modern historical armourers would do the skull in two halfs and then weld them together.
-
2089: today we are making a real yoda that can use the force!!
-
I am so ready for this whole series□:_LightsaberLogo:
-
James: "I don't weld" Also James: "I designed this wrist stand to help keep your arm still during welding"
-
I love how his cad skills were so good that the prop visor popped right into place
-
I'm a huge fan of samuel Kim who did the musics i'm so happy it was in the video !!!
-
I love the subtle reference of the laser cutter remote on his arm like Mando’s wrist computer! Great job Hacksmith!
-
0:04 "this is the way"
-
I’ll admit, I was skeptical on how this would turn out but it looks even better than I imagined
-
Did you really throw a brick on your head to test the helmet? Mad respect brother mad respect
-
“I’m not actually a welder but I have a grinder.” A grinder and paint make me the welder I ain’t, as the saying goes.
-
THIS IS SO AWESOME! I've been loving these videos!
-
You have got to give this guy some credit, he went from doing sfx for a toy light saber to making the first working plasma based light saber on earth
-
No one: James: “let’s start fabricating those cheeks”
-
I am sooooooo exited to see James wearing the whole set
-
A little disappointed that the mando helmet didn't get the thermal camera added. Still, one beautiful bucket.
-
Actually, Grogu's pod is a part of mando's suite, he presses buttons to make the pod follow Mando, close, and more
