As a life long (real) power boater and a hard core RC boat hobbyist....there is nothing more awesome than a large scale RC boat with actual turbines. The electrics have come a long way, almost making the 2 stroke gasoline obsolete. But turbine....that is on another level. I'm waiting to see a large scale V bottom with scale Merc outdrives and turbines to replicate the famous 51 Outerlimits.

That first boat was an absolute work of art
-
Those hatch locks on the first one, omg 💯
-
Well done. And it’s got two petrol donks. Love it. Xx
-
I love to see these videos,I build my boats from scratch, and it’s very satisfying to finally see them go. I am strictly petrol engines ,I’ve had too many fires with batte4ies m

Its not about speed, but for pure hardcore hobbyist
-
I run brushless. Can't beat the power they make.
-
The Swiss put in their boats so gently in contrast to Americans throwing theirs in for IMPBA races. Is that because of the missing gas clutches here?
-
I thought the Swiss had outlawed having fun.
-
A blast 2 watch. Super sick boats👍
-
I love these boats... bigger is better! 👍👍👍😉
-
Man I was anticipating a lot more out of that big twin turbine boat. 🤷♂️

Hi 👋, I am new to your work shop, They look 👀 very interesting and impressive, but they’re all lacking something speed, and they all got the same characteristics, they all are porpoising. I used to live in the UK and I used to rise 3 1/2 7 1/2 11 1/2 and 15 cc hydros, in excess of 70 miles an hour, even been known to touch nearly 100, even in rough water, they would literally ride the prop, if it wasn’t, for the fact, I lost my exhaust on my hydro 15cc back in 1992, I would’ve won the Swedish championships?, my Hull was made by a guy called Don Pinkerton. I think that is how we spelt. He came from the US, RIP . He was a very intelligent, interesting guy with great knowledge.! I’m now retired in my 70s I could do with a hobby , but have nowhere to run a boat, and I suppose at my age, I should be looking more along the lines of a a sail yacht 😂 , I think I could fart faster than what they were going. Obviously spending a serious amount of wage., but it doesn’t relate to the speed they going at . PHIL FROM THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOULIN FRANCE.
