  • I couldn't agree with you more! I have a Shorkie and a mini Bernedoodle. Big difference in size, but same intense chew energy. The cheese sticks are great...and when you have a little nub, you can soak them in water for 5minutes and microwave them into a cheese puff - so there is minimal waste. You can't keep them forever and if they aren't interested anymore, toss them as they could become a choke hazard. As for the bully sticks, they are a great chew and definitely pricey. My dogs prefer the Pawstruck brand...and believe me, we have tried MANY brands on Amazon based on cost/size/thickness. Some smell different..and we've even tried the "extra thick"..with the logic that they'd last longer, right? NOPE...they don't like them at all. Our sweet spot is a bacon/cheese stick and the 7" braided bully stick from Pawstruck. Great for finding a bit of quiet work time and they're totally digestible. GREAT video!

I just watched this again. I have to try Himalayan chews. My pomsky is demanding of my time. Spoiled! I have to find more things to keep her busy so I can get things done in the house. She is like the Energizer bunny. She is very loved but, I need to get some things done...going on 2 yrs old.

Rokkit loves the Y shaped chew bones. They keep him occupied for months before he needs a new one.

Is there any issue with change in bowel consistency?

In my supermarket, a 12 inch bully stick is 1.50 per inch. It's cheaper for my dog to chew my couch.

My Pomsky just reached 47 lbs and he is only 8 months old. We tested his dna and he is 50/50. Do a lot of Pomskys get this big?

Cod skins or other fish skins are great, I find! Phantom really goes after them. They don't last the longest as they are just strips of skin, but they certainly keep his attention until he has eaten the whole thing. I bought a 1lb bag of Icelandic+ cod skins on chewy for $40 back in march and I still have about half the bag left. He also has a big box of the Whimzees dental chew treats. Those are another one that don't necessarily last long, but keep his attention until every bit is gone, and they have the added bonus of improving his dental health! He loves the himalayan chews as well, and I also find these last a super long time, and he has to have several sessions of chewing it. Some non-food options that he also really loves are the benebone maple sticks, and the nylon Bark SuperChewer toys. He will pick those out of his toybox first every time!
  • What if your breeder doesn’t know how big the pomsky out of the litter
