I'm way late to your project but I have really enjoyed catching up. Great job both on the work you put in, but especially on your documentation. I'll be starting a 1963 GMC longbed and plan to drop on a early 2000's Denali and watching everything you've done here is extremely valuable. Thank you so much and great job.

Nice job thank you for share all u ideas Congratulations

Great series! Enjoyed every bit of it (here, restoring a 65 very rusty stepside, sbc and 350 trans, with close to zero experience working on cars) your videos were quite informative and encouraging thank you!! Also humorās on point š¤š»

nice work. Lets see under the hood !!A slow walk around followed by a burnout A low bobber would be a cool build.

Love how the build turned out! Nice work on the bed and gas can. š¤š¼ Go with Vintage air! I did on mine and it was very easy to install. It got super cold too and heater was great too! I would say itās a weekend project. Itās more expensive for sure but you wonāt regret it. Same with the steering column. I did the cheap one too but wished I did the Ididit instead. I think im going to try a square body Chevy on a Tahoe frame. I think thatās the next project for me.

Love to see it man ššš

You need the old fashion underdash unit.
-
There is two different Jerry cans one for water one for gasoline the water one has a bigger opening and gas cap fits neatly inside find the one with hinged handle on cap easy open close never loose cap

I've been wanting to try a 12v a/c kit
-
Tack you! I'm looking forward to the AC install

Did the kit not come with provisions to mount the bed or is that only so you could mount the wood floor? Glad youāre finally done with the project and happy that youāre able to enjoy it, but still sad that youāre done. Lol Also, I donāt know in what conditions you plan on driving the truck, but it might be a good idea to treat the bottom side or put some kind of coating for water splashes or debris just so the wood wonāt rot from underneath . š¤š½

Looks great, i have my grandfathers 1970 ford ranger. My dad gave to me. I love the patina on the color on mine. What process did you use for body? Paint and what did you treat surface rust with ?

I just finished my wifeās 66 and it to took me 8 months love the videos. I wanted to do a YouTube channel but it wouldnāt be much content because I would need to bleep out all the cursing š¤¬

Awesome build! Retro air makes good kits and if you still have the tahoe compressor you might get away with using that. Im going to have to DM you on instagram about a few shows coming up i live on the east coast but over in clearwater theres a show on july 4th im taking mine on if i get my engine issues figured out by then and hoping i get my ac going by then to!
