"Whatever happens you'll still have the candy!" Aww such good parents!
-
Charlie is literally the nicest person in the world
-
My sister said, "Why'd he bite it like that? So small." I'm like, "Really? He gets one bar a year. A freakin year! He's simply savoring it."
-
When the grandma smelllls the chocolate 😂
-
In the book version, the family refuses to share the chocolate bar, but this scene makes good character growth for Charlie Bucket because it shows how he cares about his family.
-
Even if there's no Golden Ticket, I'd be so damn happy for a Wonka chocolate.
-
Charlie is literally the sweetest and best person in the world we need more people like that
-
1:33 "Oh no Charlie, not your birthday present" ok, can we just be very impressed that Charlie still did share the chocolate bar? That's just so sweet like he didn't even listen to his Gandpa and still did it! I would do that for my birthday

Augustus: fat veruca: spoilt violet: arrogant mike: intelligent Charlie: honest hotel: trivago

i think this is one of helena bonham carter’s most understated roles, especially in a burton film. and i think that highlights just what a good performance this was. she says very little and fulfills a very small role, but she did a really good job at it, especially conveying that she enjoys candy as much as her son does and wants him to win the ticket. i think she balances the “good mom” and just a touch of harmless selfishness in a very winning way

I would kill for a Wonka Bar.

the presence of senior actors is what makes this movie so valuable, and it's hard to believe that all of them are now gone. RIP David Kelly, David Morris, Eileen Essell, Liz Smith and Sir Christopher Lee.

The child every parent-to-be hopes for..
-
You guys can tell that this kid was raised by a loving family by the way he shared his birthday present with them
-
He absolutely deserves the happiness he gets in the end! His heart is so much more valuable than any golden ticket for sure!
-
Is my favourite film...... Since I was 6 years old......every day I watch this film and now Im 19. Time flies.
-
Charlie’s mom going crazy on that chocolate
-
One of many reasons why Charlie is one of the most likable characters in this film.
-
I hope when I have a child I can raise him a child as kind, generous and humble as Charlie.
-
Charlie: "Maybe I should wait until morning" Grandpa: "Like Hell" Hahahaha always gets me 😂😂😂
