My Channel was Hacked for 20 days...

If it makes you feel any better, it was so obvious that you were hacked and if people waited you would most likely be back.

Dont worry. Some* people who actually care about you knew you were being hacked and stood by your side here while not engaging in those obviously hacker videos. *edited

Robert, I'm so sorry you went through this. I hope your channel can recover from all the red numbers, but I know how scary it can be to face that. I don't know how we can get better action from YouTube and Google - things like this have been issues on the platform for over a decade and there's still not enough support. They take half of our income and don't use it to make our jobs even the slightest bit secure. Nothing that could cut into the profit margin, I guess. We have to be acutely and constantly aware that our livelihoods are sitting on razor edges. I hate to complain about this wondrous, fanciful career I've stumbled into, but that shit is so stressful. Thank you for sharing your story. Talking about these experiences is probably the most powerful thing we can do. Merry christmas and happy new year, I hope this one goes better for you. So sad this happened to you. Something felt weird when it took 20 days for the hacker to leave, which I now know was exactly that, weird. Hope this channel picks up again, I will definately watch new videos, but Maybe you should start anew? You can make a second channel, and see if it gets more revenue than the first. If it does, I think you should just try and move your content to that new home. Good luck!

Congrats man! Glad you got it back.. finally. Unfortunately, a lot of your stuff has been taken off the channel. I don't know if you have backups for those videos as I imagine that would be a ton of storage. Hopefully they were just privated and not deleted. But regardless I've resubscribed and hope to see you normal stuff in my feed again soon. Cheers man and good luck!

I didn’t know what TF was going on. I didn’t click on a single video and thought you were just trying new gaming content or something. I was like “Well, this is weird.” And ignored it in my notifications. From one YouTuber to another (as well as a fan of your channel), I’m really sorry this happened. That sucks.
