  • Hmm Your Mum knows a lot about these antiques. She gave us a good Commentary while she was filming. Kudos to her. Old age and wisdom combined !!!!!!

My father in law just passed away recently and one of his sons said to his mother, "Mom just call someone they will come pick up all of that junk". I almost had a stroke......I almost screamed, "NO, that was your dads livelihood". The mom of this man, the wife of my father in law, was so hurt that he didn't want anything from his dad's stuff..... Please people, love your parents things. Look over them, remember times you had with them, cherish those things.

I can only imagine your husband being a kind and gentle man. The way he treats his mother is so loving. Love your videos.💕

I respect how you handle the merchandise with care. I’ve watched another site where the guy throw things around and onto the ground. No need for that. I’m a new subscriber and now have to binge watch your videos. I’m very close to my son and I can see us doing this together. Your mom’s a sweetheart and it warms my heart how much you show her respect. God bless you on your adventures.

Dear Wade Adventures, I have watched many a storage unit groups and for the most part I have been appalled at the smut, foul language and/or money hungry ingrates that are showing up on YouTube. If any one deserves to be blessed, it's your family. You truly have feelings for the people that has lost their possessions yet, you know that you are running a business and life goes on. Thank you for being a stand-up family that stands for their beliefs and you will be continually blessed. And to you Grandma Adventures, kutos to you for a son that makes you proud.

It's interesting to see in the comments how many people have found and viewed this during our Covid-19, pandemic quarantine. Thank you for being respectful to the original owners and not showing the insides of photo albums. Thank you for handling these items with care. I'm hoping this couple just never had any kids, and that's why this got left behind. If the owners did have adult kids, I don't understand why they couldn't take a tiny break from their lives to show some respect to their parents belongings! Respect Your Parents Adult Children Out There!! They deserve that Honor!!✨
  • FYI the children's oak Wakefield rocking chair is actually not vintage, it's antique. So a tad older than you originally thought. They are worth $549 to $889 each dependent upon its condition. So that was an awesome find. BTW just stumbled on your channel and subscribed because I love the mother son dynamic. Your mom rocks, but I'm pretty sure you already knew that. I'm looking forward to your next upload. Great content.👍😊

Wade I love seeing a man whom shows his mom the respect and love they deserve, and mom I have to give you props you raised your son right he is going to be a good husband and dad if not already because you were such a good mom to him. I can tell from just watching this one video of you two it was really nice seeing it. Thank You for sharing

This video reminds me of a time when my husband and I had the opportunity to clean out homes after estate sales. We could do what we liked with the items, but we had to take everything, including the garbage. One particular home sticks in my mind because as in this unit, there were several boxes of photographs and letters - some from the WWII era. I couldn't believe that a family would leave those behind on purpose. It took me several months, but I managed to hunt down a family member who was overjoyed at the find and spent a few hours with me over tea telling me the family story and going home with her memories of a beloved family member. I even took her to my storage area and offered to her that if there were any special dishes or other items from the home she was welcome to take them. I'm so glad that you are so respectful to do something similar to what you have here. Also, quit hassling mom! She's doing a good job and she knows a thing or two...

That white "Egyptian thing" is called Tramp Art box. I've never seen one painted. They are usually natural wood. They are worth more than average in a natural state .
  • I had to laugh when you opened the box with outdoor games and your Mom called the cover to the bread warmer a doll hammock. The item you didn't know is a Salton(brand name) bread warmer. They work great! Hopefully it still works. I came across you video randomly and enjoyed watching. I am glad you show so much respect to the families that used to own these items. I also love your relationship with your Mom. I hope her surgery went well.
  • Someone was a Ham radio operator. Go through the personal papers and Google some of the names and you'll find the grandchild or someone those war medals would mean a lot too. You're a good man for giving them back!!
  • This was nerve-racking.. 😬😬😬 The entire video, I kept thinking..."BE CAREFUL!" 😳 So many items that I understand you didn't realize, had value. But, please, take it easy with the old stuff! Some are so rare. Glad you found a good unit, and I hope these treasures found good homes.
  • Love this! Love all the "oh wows"! I love watching you and your mom. I had a great relationship with my parents and we had so much fun doing ordinary things or just working as you are. I miss them both, so much! I hope your Mom's knee surgery went good. I am watching 2years hence. Will have to watch follow up videos.😊
  • The one thing that you thought was a hammock looks like AA old bread bread warmer! And in the condition it looks like it's with a lot more money than they paid for back then ! You done very good on this On this storage locker 👏 👌 👍 🙌.
  • @georgesmith8255
LAWN DARTS ... it’s so funny how they gave kids sharp pointy things to play with back in the day .. but now you can’t get a cap gun without someone screaming you’re terrible parents
  • I wish I had that kind of relationship with my mother, you guys look like you really enjoy each others company, and get along. :)
  • @D31taD4wn
I hope a family member may be watching and you can return their memories from a relative. God Bless.
