I know this is a love song but I Always think of family and friends that I’ve lost over the years when I hear this song. 😢
  • A beautiful, and "tearful" song that resonates to many people, who may have serious regrets!
  • My cousin and I use to imitate Diana and the Supremes singing...for our Grandfather as he sat in his chair watching Ed Sullivan...we Loved them!!! He would laugh ....we d have so much fun...They were the best and the outfits were amazing!!!

The last pop #1 of the 1960's.......I have Johnny Bristol's double gold record awarded to him by Motown for this song.
  • One of the best songs. The Supremes music will stand the test of time.
  • The Supremes. I was born too late to see Supremes' great performance. If I was a teenage in 1969, may be I watched Supremes' last great Ed Sullivan show on TV. The Supremes makes 1960s very shining. They opened 1960s and closed 1960s. The GREAT era, the GREAT musician. The Supremes!!

I had the privilege of seeing Diana live about 10 years ago in NYC it was utterly amazing!
  • This was, perhaps, the signature tune of the huge success that Motown Records label was.

This video seems magical because of the beautiful gold and purple colors surrounding the beautiful Supremes.
