Lyrics:
Baby we can talk all night
But that ain't getting us nowhere
I told you everything I possibly can
There's nothing left inside of here
And maybe you can cry all night
But that'll never change the way I feel
The snow is really piling up outside
I wish you wouldn't make me leave here
I poured it on and I poured it out
I tried to show you just how much I care
I'm tired of words and I'm too hoarse to shout
But you've been cold to me so long
I'm crying icicles instead of tears

I'm a 73 year old black man still listening to some meatloaf, God bless you.

Today my husband would have been 54. He loved meatloaf, this was one of his favorites. I might not have him anymore but I still have our 2 kids. I guess you can say......2 out of 3 ain't bad. We miss you John but rest easy and happy birthday!

Thank you for everything. RIP.

This album was the very last he gave me for Christmas. One week later I lost the best Dad any girl could ask for. Cancer, the result of improper treatment while serving in the Navy during WWII. I'm 60 years older now than I was at that time and this song takes me right back. Missing him more as time goes on, especially when I hear this song. R.I.P. Lloyd Murray MacDonald🇨🇦🕊🪦❤

My boyfriend who passed away from liver cancer 6yrs ago just wanted us to sing this together. This is a beautiful song and masterpiece about a unrequited love ❤️ 🎉🎉
-
Meat Loaf is in a very small class of vocalists that never said "Look at me". He simply said "Listen to me while I take you on a journey". Thank you very much for taking all of us with you. You will be sadly missed. 😭
-
I heard someone on the news today describe his voice as “operatic”. Great description. Thanks for all the great music Meatloaf. You have left your mark on the music world.

I've never been particularly affected by the passing of any celebrity, but Meat Loaf is a MAJOR exception. I'm a fully-grown man, but I'm sitting here at the computer crying like a baby. Thank you for all the incredible music, Mr. Aday; you and this song are legends that will live on forever. RIP.
-
He was a singer who truly sang from his soul. He certainly broke the stereotype of what is a lead singer in a band. Thanks for your outstanding album!
-
Thumbs up if you're listening to this magnificent masterpiece in 2024

I’m 19 years old and all i listen to is 70s and 80s music. Meatloaf is still my favorite band and this will always be my favorite song. Too bad I couldn’t live this era.

R.I.P. Jim Steinman - Composer of 'Two out of Three ain't bad' - died on Monday 19th April 2021. A beautiful written song sang with such gusto by Meat Loaf.

I'm so devastated at Marvin's death. He was born to be an entertainer; every song he sang, he put his heart into it. You were too good for this cruel world, darling. Rest in love!

To all that can relate to this song it really hits home.

This song is so brutally honest. It touches a deep place from so many years ago so perfectly. This is lyrical and musical mastery when you're transported so effortlessly. Meatloaf and Steinman were a perfect match and so many generations are grateful for the memories.
