Argerich is 82 years old. How does she do it!! She can still travel the world extensively and play with more fire and precision than just about any other pianist. At 82!! It's just perfection from start to finish.

It's mind-boggling that, after a 65-year-career (she won two major competitions at age 16) she still can play this so freshly, with absolute command.

Wonderful to be able at this concert pianist standard at 82, I so respect and admire her ❤

Frau Argerich ist meine absolute Lieblingspianistin, die mich nach wie vor begeistert und die ich sehr bewundere. Wo immer es möglich ist, höre ich sie. Zum Glück ist mir das per YouTube jederzeit möglich.
  • My uncle Holman had dementia but remembered his classical pieces on his 7 foot Steinway!!!!!!!!!! Scarlatti, Bach Chopin. Rach 3 with no orchestra. We were too poor to figure out in 1950 how to get an orchestra and no scores on tape to accompany him!!! All my toys were under this piano XXXXXOOOOO!!!
  • acgoddess she is playing of memory at 82. musicians are divine geniuses and she is amazing of interpreting this precious piece like an Angel would do...Im in awe...thank you!

  • " To play a wrong note is insignificant ; to play without passion is inexcusable " ---- Ludwig van Beethoven..
  • Martha Argherich is an outstanding Pianis. When playing, she always touches my heart. Her interpretation of music is wonderful.
  • Sheer delight! As the grande dame of pianism Mme Argerich has the authority to introduce rubatos and accelerandos at will and this she did liberally, exploring their delights triumphantly. Equally delightful was the fact that this young orchestra had the skill to follow deftly in her wake. Bravissimo to all concerned.
  • God should grant some people on this earth eternal life. Martha sould be one of them.
