46:54 the reason you can’t plant is because you don’t have enough light! Seeds need light to be planted so that’s also why when your machine broke grown wheat, it wouldn’t replace because the light on your machine was moving away. Lanterns hanging down from up above will fix that though!

I think having this shallow of an ocean is greatly limiting your creativity and opportunities for cool stuff. Would be very down for an update to a newer version with deeper oceans. Also world edit allows you to select specific areas and copy it where you need. It also will allow you to select a specific rectangle of area and save it as a schematic to then be pasted into a new world. I’m not entirely sure how it will respond with modded blocks as I have limited experience with world edit and modded blocks, but even if you just had to replace modded blocks, it would be much easier than entirely rebuilding. You can also find world edit commands posted in many different places on the internet to make it easier if you need some assistance/can’t get someone to help.
  • So, yes to the Deeper depths Mod. It might be cool to see so long as you don't drown yourself. It'll be really dark though which means more spawned mobs.

Adding additional water wheels increases the stress capacity, not the rotational speed. Each machine has a certain amount of stress it uses based on its rotational speed. In order to increase rotational speed, you need to either have big cogs turning little cogs diagonal to them, or use a machine called a rotational speed controller. The speed can be increased until the stress exceeds what is produced by your generator, whether it is wind, water, etc. Once that limit is exceeded, the entire system grinds to a halt.

You can also use hoppers and chests on the villager farm/incubator so it's almost completely hands off villager breeding. In fact, I linked a farming villager too so that it was completely hands off. 😊

You could have put a farmer inside of the trading block and just sold him wheat instead of tossing it or creating tons of bread. Also a create Tree Cutter is about the same cost as the crop harvester, super easy to build early on so it would be much more efficient than manually cutting down and planting trees. The things you need to transfer items from chest on a create device to other chest is a portable storage system and its literally just an andesite casing+chute crafting recipe, and you only need two of them. Also hoppers can be attached to the Easy Village blocks to auto feed items and pull out things from and into chest.

If you can get lava, you can use mechanical drills to mine cobblestone auto by making a cobble gen and using the mechanical drill(powering it with kinetic energy) and use grinders to grind cobblestone into gravel and gravel into sand fully automaticly and also can use gravel to get more dirt.
  • The farm doesn't have enough light 😂 also update time, if u do end up updateing in away that chances the terrain highly recommend saving before update sense if the terrain changes around youre base it can break what u have build 😅🎉also if make a farmer u can sell them wheat for emeralds 😂

Maybe for the monster doors connecting to the tunnels, you could slowly raise the glass from the tunnel to the door until it reaches the top (raising it up like a staircase to the arch). Then that would make the door seem very elegant and open, instead of kinda small and closed off (hope that makes sense :D )

Add mekanism if you do update, it has it's own scuba gear that can eventually be combined into power armor.

It is possible, essentially, you could take the structure you've built and use Starter Structures mod, world edit would be used to copy the structure into a newly generated world which would include all the contents of the chests, but it might also break certain multiblock structures, I'm not sure, but I've had it work with some modded blocks in the various chests and structures. The starter structure would get transported to wherever spawn point is, which can be set to anywhere. I think you can transport your inventory and such over as well but I don't recall what files are used to store items and such, just that I transfered inventory and other data from one file into another. It would also be wise to remove items and objects from the structure that wouldn't be coming over to the new modpack, like the subnautica sub might cause glitches when generating the new world.

I think it would be awesome to see a deeper ocean! One thing it would open up better is a tall tree farm! (Like spruce or jungle if you manage to get those saplings!) If it were a pressing concern, you technically could already make one, but like half of the tree would be sticking up out of the water. Whereas if you had a deeper ocean, you could choose how much/if any of the tree sticks up out of the water!

Hi, i think you can bookmark the recipe so its easier to craft it.. on the item you want to craft (the right side), try pressing A on your keyboard, so it will show on your left side when you're crafting.. Also, you could see all the things in create mods if you write @create on the recipe page.. hope it helps! :))
  • for the cobble gen, the gearboxes do not increase rotational speed. using small cogwheels would do the same thing. also, the numbers that are shown when looking at create mechanisms with the engineers goggles (1:09:38) are either the mechanism's stress capacity (160 stress units on the water wheels at max speed) or the amount of stress units it uses (40 each on the drills). increase in speed leads to more stress
