A day in San Jose Costa Rica | Not quite as planned !

In this episode we head Ito the centre of San Jose - Costa Rica. We meet up with our friends Fez and Kattia who show us around the city. Our first stop is the Central Market, where we have a lovely lunch trying some local street food and dishes before exploring the city centre.

After crashing our drone in the jungle we are desperate to get hold of another so the drone search starts.

It was an interesting day but things didn't quite go according to plan !

In case you don't know us - let us introduce ourselves - we are Chris (48) & Marianne (51). We recently quit our jobs and sold our belongings to travel full time.

After more than 22 years of marriage we are still best friends - (there's a travel couple goal for you).

The aim is we are going to step foot in every country in the world before we die - or die trying !. We are currently also planning an epic around the world road trip. So stayed tuned for more clips as we TREAD the Globe in either Trudy the TREAD camper van or armed with our backpacks!

I remember the first time I used UBER. It was also the first time I used AIRBNB while visiting Washington D.C. My hostess kindly set me up and the first ride was free. I got in the front seat and my Uber driver was a bit surprised but when she learned it was my first time she gave me a great crash course in Uber etiquette. Many years later, after I retired and wanted to make a few bucks, I was employed as an Uber driver in Albuquerque, NM. I lasted one Saturday night shift. It makes for a good story. I experienced the good, bad and ugly which involved drugs, probable prostitution and alcohol.

Hi guys, hope you arnt using an andfoid phone to fly the drone, i tried android with my phantom 4, didnt work well. Seen lots of vids that say, apple works better. And that raises rge question?? DO APPLE HAVE A VESTED INTEREST IN DJI??????

Great video. Especially liked the food segment. One thing, though; what's with the darned French fries.?! Please tell them to skip the fries and give you what most Latinos prefer, that is, anything BUT freaking fries.!! They could have given you salad, instead. Sorry, I've got this aversion to cheap "fillers". I have foody "issues".

I´m from Costa Rica but to be honest I don´t like downtown SJ. There are too many people and is too noisy. But in SJ there are many other places that are nice, maybe later if you are still in SJ you can go to Escazú or La Sabana.
