Hey you can have same sex relationship and romantic interactions in the Sims 1. The reason it didn't work here is because you went straight for the hot tub which gave you special interactions but once you got out of the hot tub you had to do a lot of friendly interactions before romance shows up. The only thing was same sex marriage was not available but they could be "joined"

One thing I will say is that I miss the simplicity of the social menu. We have a million interactions in Sims 4 but they all kind of do the same thing? I mean, different moodlets and impacts on relationship status yes, but you can probably get the same results with the Sims 1 menu as well.

I miss one-sided/uneven relationship dynamics so much 😮💨 it made for deeper/funnier storylines. And this silly little video made me laugh more than TS4 has in years.

Funny story... my mom wouldn't let me get this expansion until I was 13, despite me playing The Sims (a teen-rated game) since I was 7/8, all because it was called "Hot Date." 😂

Yes! He is crying because he did it "that bad"! I sooo love The Sims 1. They've made the franchise much too "family friendly" when previous games went both ways, it was up to you how naughty or family friendly you were with them.
