when i first heard about jojo i thought jotaro was THE jojo
  • Even tho Jotaro is the poster boy for JoJo. We can’t ignore that DIO only acknowledge Jonathan as the ONLY JoJo
  • In the Oingo Boingo Bros chapters, when Joseph and Polnareff encourage Oingo (whom convinced them that he was Jotaro) to do a few parlour tricks in the car, it shows that Jotaro has a goofy side to him that we don't get to see, and would do such tricks for the enjoyment of his friends
  • Because of his iconic looks and personality I guess. He's a character that everyone can predict his character and personality just through one image

For me, Jonathan is Jojo, but Jotaro still left a mark on the show for me as something special.

For me, it’s because Jotaro was a HUGE factor for a LOT of parts. And the fact that many of the themes have some sort of Jotaro leitmotif, however, Jotaro is also one of those that started a lot of the investigations on stands, so like Jonathan he had a large influence on JoJo in general.

Everything about him is iconic, his drip, his quotes, even the way he walks or how he wears a jacket but puts his hands in the pants pockets anyway, he just has an immediate impression on anyone who hears or sees literally any aspect of his character
  • thats weird because whenever i think of the series jojo s bizarre adventure my mind goes towards dio

Jotaro is the Sherlock of Jojo, he also looks the coolest

The answer is obvious really. It’s the goddamn hat. I’m not even joking (much), when the hat itself can be used as a Jojo reference and people will understand it, you know it’s a big part of his design. The way he wears it, the way it often covers one of his eyes, it all adds a ton to his cool factor while also being a fashion piece, which I feel kind of ties together the identity of Jojo characters looking both badass and showy or flamboyant. Just try to imagine scenes of Jotaro without his hat. Does it look less cool to you? I think it does. And Araki knew the hat was cool. Any time he loses the hat he seems quite eager to get it back quickly. At the end of the Geb fight I think he actually remarked on how the stand knocked his hat off, which is kind of a big deal since it seems like it’s basically glued onto his head. Jotaro’s hat ain’t no joke.

I once thought all the Jojos were the same person at different points in time. Boy, was I wrong.
  • @metapikasonic
Jotaro is the Jojo with the most screen time and featured the most in marketing and merchandising
  • When I think of jojo the character I think of is Jonathan believe it or not😂
  • @goji8755
When I hear “jojo” I think of really buff men so I don’t really think of josuke and beyond. I think of jonathon, Joseph, and jotaro
  • @kingkay14
Technically hermit purple was first, Joseph stated that he felt DIO’s influence a few months before jotaro turned 18

This is why he is the protagonist in the game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven. I hope this alternate universe is made into an actual anime season part 9 or even a anime JoJo movie. Imagine that, every JoJo and Jobro working together. This game has exclusive story and made it happen and it would be epic if it was animated.

Part 3 is set in the late 80’s. JJBA is published in the late 80’s. Also, the stands.
