I work in IT. I sit in a cubicle all day under fluorescent lights and when my phone goes beep I have to troubleshoot somebody's iPhone. But today, for 15 minutes, I turned the phone off and listened to this song 4 times in a row. 'Go off to sleep in the sunshine', indeed. Thank you.

i remember discovering this video 2 years ago while living in Austin, TX when my heroin use was starting to get out of control. the first time i watched this i was blown away by her voice, the second time i watched it i cried. 3 months clean now!

It’s been almost a decade and I still come to this song when I’m lost. Elliot wrote the hell out of this song and you sang the hell out of it. Plus this arrangement really highlights Elliott’s unique style of song writing. Just amazing. Been sober for almost four years now and it’s strange who this song was with me on both sides. Not all of my musical tastes made the transition but this did.

Incredible. Elliott’s music is so raw it’s hard for people to cover, because his emotion is what makes him, him.. but this... this makes me feel a way I can’t even describe. This is talent folks

This is a strong contender for my favourite YouTube clip of all time. I'm not even gonna try and explain why. I think it's something to do with seeing the next generation so beautifully express themselves through ES's music. The video isn't even important, it's just the sound. I keep coming back to this clip to listen to this performance. Thank you Mikaela.
