as a side note for anyone needing scattered prisms, IF you have alt chars , PARK THEM AT THE WORLD BOSS, when you kill the boss on main , immediately swap chars and login to one of the alts parked at boss. Prosper. Yw.

With all the problems with D4, complaining about being flooded w a variety of mats serves no purpose. Do you want them constrain the drop rates of some things to the point where they have the scarcity of Stygian Stones? They have enough problems just trying to get itemization to a good state -- they still have a long, long ways to go to get itemization right, let alone NMDs and the myriad of other problems w the game. Being flooded w mats is the least of of our concerns - and is a distraction from them fixing the core problems w the game.

Bash was not even intended to be in the patch notes as it was just a tooltip fix. There was a blue post made about this, almost instantly afterwards.

For the helltide fix they should have made it if you filled the bar 3 times without dying they go into a "frenzy mode" and would do the glitch spawn rates so the people that have them amazing builds can enjoy it and underleveled people wouldnt get overwhelmed.

I am at zero angel breath because I missed the helltide exploit. I use elixirs and incence and they mats required for them are always zero.

damn the helltide bug was the most fun I had in d4. just endless hordes of enemies to slay, kinda like poe

Seems like the goal is to allow users to modify their gear by adding sockets and gems. Right now is too restrictive. I believe the frustration from not having materials to temper, masterwork, add socket, etc. is a higher problem than rendering these currencies sterile.

blizzard is so slow to react and fix things. This patch should fix stygian stones drop and make small tormented bosses viable to run already.

Ghazzy you should be one of Main Tester for D4 and Poe they should listen to the smart advice of professional gamer enjoyer

a lot of this is because we juiced the threat meter. It was designed to be rarer.

Bash is not getting changed they say that part of patch notes is a mistake is unrelated to bash damage, now lets see if that stays true though, or that they're lying. Also I'm sitting on almost 60 prism, and used about 30~ and sure I've done quite a bit of world bosses but I don't do legion events and apparently they do drop them as well so I could've had a crap ton more. It's only a issue when you spend it like it's monopoly money, it's nice when something has value it's really rare in diablo that anything has value, it's either like ghazzy says doesn't exists or you have unlimited of, prism was the ONLY thing that had this "oh it has value maybe I shouldn't socket every item that is just temporary" but after patch we'll have thousands of them.

I agree id rather have the materials not be irrelevant. They really wanted people to get to the end game and try tempering/masterworking. That might be paet of why we are flooded with mats If we had some kind of material sink to do with them it would be fine

Only currency I have run into issues with is Angelbreath (enchanting gear and crafting potions) and veiled crystals. The rest really is meaningless.
