It’s no secret that I have a lifelong passion for clothing – but even I can admit that sometimes I hold onto pieces that I know I’ll never wear again. For today’s Closet Confessions, I’m taking you with me as I finally tackle the chaos that is my storage unit. While many of the pieces I own still bring me joy, it’s important that I part ways with neglected pieces to make room for a curated collection that resonates with the woman I am today. Of course, some things must stay no matter how ruthless I try to be – clothing that still works well with the rest of my wardrobe, pieces reserved for specific occasions, or cherished items with stories to tell. As for everything else, however, it’s officially time to go...

Take a whistle-stop tour through Trinny Woodall’s (fifteen) wardrobes with Closet Confessions. In each episode, Trinny deep-dives into a particular section of her closet, mixing high street, vintage, designer and everything in between. This is everything you’ve ever wanted to know about fashion and styling, from the expert herself.

Amazing episode (the longer, the better) of Closet Confessions, can't wait for the follow ups.
  • @mandylouise
Please do a video where you style the items you have brought back! ❤
  • Good one!!! But I think you need to be a bit more ruthless... remember 'dress for the women you are today'!!!! Also LOVE Molly's coat !!!! And when are we going to see a mother daughter style up again!!!! Would love to see how Lyla styles up what you are passing into her !!!!
  • Splendid episode!!! Seeing another “closet” full of fabulous pieces is a true adventure. I thoroughly enjoy hearing the stories behind each piece. Thank you!
  • @whittyfool
I COULD HAVE WATCHED HOURS OF THIS!!! ❤

Could tour your wardrobe for days on end, down to the last sock. What a joy this was. Beautiful clothing is such a special and evocative part of our lives. x

Glad you kept the Adidas raincoat, Trinny! It's so unique & 'cool' looking but at the same time not overwhelming (it fits you well with the flattering waist cinching drawstring toggles, plus it harmonises with your complexion - just as you said).
  • @Swizzieland
I love the fact that you save your clothes, I have rails of clothes too and each item has a story, sometimes un-mentionable from my younger days 🙂

That was fun. Please leave the wedding dress as is!! It’s a work of art and could be featured at the V&A. Can’t wait for part II. Xx
  • Oh my gosh Trinny! Such a treasure trove you have there. I could be lost in there for hours, wait you guys probably were. I'm so jealous. Looking forward to the next one.

What an amazing dive back into so many treasures. Oh to have Trinny as my mum....Lyla you are a lucky girl!
  • Omg that skirt at 22:03 from Donna Karen is pretty much identical to my Trinny and Susannah skirt that I got from their range in Freeman's catalogue about 25/30 years ago! 😳 My boyfriend bought it for me for Christmas one year, I must've been around 18 or 19 I think...I have kept it all these years as I adore it!! (I kept the boyfriend too haha!!) I haven't been able to fit into it for about 20 years but I tried it on the other day as I was culling my wardrobe and I could actually fit into it! It's so beautifully made that I never wanted to get rid, love it!!
  • @farrukhpatel4930
Definitely looking forward to part 2... as part 1 so cool. You were the right amount of ruthless in my opinion . .more please ❤
  • @sallykins3800
I love a good clear out , I enjoyed this too much 😊
  • It’s not just Lila you are keeping for, it’s future generations. I grew up wearing key pieces from my grandmother’s wardrobe and still wear unique items into my 50’s. I now store items that a future grandchild might find sartorially interesting.

Oh, Trinny and the girls! It was a fab episode, would love to see more of these dips into Trinny's treasure cave :). Love love the red patterned full-length mac/raincoat, i think its true statement and actually very cool piece, the same for blue leopard fur coat. Looking forward for the followups trying everything on...
