The fact that Anya still flinches despite knowing what's about to happen just adds to the comedy of this situation. Knowing where the ball's likely going to go doesn't change the fact that there's a high-velocity projectile coming at you. (She also definitely almost blundered that first dodge; if she'd jumped even slightly earlier, she probably would've gotten hit.)
