Squier Classic Vibe 70s HSS Stratocaster rock tone review

Published 2019-08-24
Adam Taylor tests the humbucker pickup on the 2019 Squier Classic Vibe 70s Stratocaster through a JCM 800 patch. I will do a detailed review and post soon. These are classic rock oriented riffs. I'll test neck pickups and play some blues and metal soon in a video.

Just got mine! I'm going to have to set it up with heavier strings but it's a nice piece! I'm playing through a Fender Mustang GTX50...Sounds amazing and plays really well! I wish I could have gotten this exact setup with the walnut body but that's nitpicking. My ONLY real gripe is that I'm not impressed with the pots, but those could be upgraded later.
  • Thats just a beautiful damn guitar to me!!!!!! Another great AT video!!! More needed with this guitar brother.....
  • Nice. I see you are getting into the strat more. Haha. I absolutely want an hss like this. I have Ibanez s370 2001 rare saber. I love it. Also HSS Ibanez SA120 I bought to put Pertrucci pups in. Still haven't. Ltd MH103QM hss. I uploaded a video restringing it and totally slipped all the strings forgetting to keep the damn bridge level. I pulled the block and bam. Hahahaha.
