In this video I teach you how to read notes fast, using The Landmark System. Note Recognition is the first step to sight reading music / scores / pieces. Learning how to read music quickly begins with this system.

By using the 9 Landmarks you can read notes faster than using the Every Good Boy Does Fine method.

Enjoy!

Music Equipment Recommendations

As a beginning piano student, you need a keyboard that has 88 or 76 keys, weighted keys, and is affordable. I've found the best value keyboards are Yamaha's.

Here is my top keyboard recommendation.
Yamaha P-125
amzn.to/2yZophe

This is a great keyboard for a beginner and also a great keyboard to grow into.

It may seem impossible at first but trust me once you get the basics and start practicing seriously, you'll notice that you won't need to look down at your hands to play the note youre looking at🥰 it'll be hard but it'll be worth it!!
  • i’ve been playing piano for 11 years why did i watch this entire thing
  • These are the kind of tutorials I like to watch. There’s no “fluff” or condescending bullcrap. Just pure and direct information with a little personality

I like this system. It focuses on visual recognition. The old mnemonic system was a pain to deal with. Thanks for this.
