Praying for you Florida. I lost everything in Hurricane Katrina. Went through Ida last year, those 150+ winds are scary. I hope many evacuated because your life is irreplaceable. šŸ™
  • As someone who use to live in Florida I hated hurricane season so much but I send my prayers to the people in Florida be careful take care of your people.

What a monster! It's horrendous. It's a miracle anyone lived through that! So awful. Prayers to all.
  • I have 2 great-grandsons, ages 7 and 8 yrs old, on Pine Island on the southern tip. At this moment, the eye of Hurricane Ian is directly over them. Pine Island is due west of Cape Coral & Ft. Myers FL. To say I'm concerned is an understatement!

Florida šŸ˜¢. We are currently feeling the heavy wind gusts in Biloxi. I canā€™t imagine what Florida is feeling. Reminds me of Katrinaā€™s destruction in Mississippi. All it took was 12 hours that Monday of 2005. Stay safe Florida.
  • Please keep Florida in your prayers. My friends, family, and coworkers chose to stay behind. I left late last night with my daughter in tow. I tossed and turned on this one but I truly believe my guardian angels whispered to me and said get out.

WOW! those poor people who had no means to evacuate, tragically the next 72 hours will be catastrophic. Prayers.
  • Thank you so much to all the news reporters! They're out there in the dangerous condition to make the reports. Much appreciated!
  • Have a friend in Ft Myers šŸ˜¢šŸ˜¢šŸ˜¢. Lord please protect her. My best friend for over 30 years. Can't reach her.

Props to the reporter and camera guy for having the courage to be that close to the hurricane.
  • Thinking of everyone in the path of this storm. Please stay safe.
  • There are so many that don't have the money to evacuate. My prayers and thoughts are with you.

In tears for my people in Florida šŸ˜¢
  • My brother and his family live on Sanibel Island but thankfully evacuated to eastern Florida. They have several friends who decided to stay on the island and have lost contact with them as of this afternoon. Praying for all of Florida right now
  • Came in my FB memories today my husband and I were just here a year ago...one of my favorite places on this earth šŸ˜„. Stay safe everyone šŸ’œ
  • It is always the I letter storms that are deadly and destructive. Ivan(2004), Ike(2008),Irene(2011), Irma(2017), Ida(2021) and of course now Ian(2022). There are others but those are the most memorable I think.
