A must church to visit while in Rome. Magnificent, splendid, majestic and imposing. It is one of the pilgrim churches in Rome.

    Beautiful. My second favorite in Rome. Standing at that huge dome shaped area while sunlight is shining across it from one of the windows, is just something else. And the ceiling is a work of art.

    There's older churches in Jerusalem and in the Holly Land and far more important - Mother of all Churches is the Patriarchal See of Jerusalem - not Rome1 What kind of nonsense is this?
