There is no place that has the same energy and vibe you feel in #London. I spent two years immersing myself across all the inner boroughs of London through its famous streets to the well kept secret locations with the only intent to grab a tiny part of the soul of this city and pack it in a video for you.

Not an easy task as its soul is being constantly reshaped as new cultures, arts and trends are emerging everyday.

This is one of the most demanding and challenging projects of my career as I put together more than 6000 video clips captured with several type of cameras and devices in over 2 years. I have squeezed them all into this short film that shows more than 70 London locations.

This should legitimately be used by the UK Tourist board.

As a Londoner I can safely say this is one of the most amazing representations I have ever seen of the city I call home. It shows the amazing breadth of different people, cultures and stories that this place holds, it's almost overwhelming to watch but that's exactly how London feels at times. I can also appreciate the amount of time this has been shot over, looking at how the London landscape has changed over the years, this work has taken you a very long time, your patience to create a story is insane. It has shown me different sides of London and I have dreamed to work on a video piece for this city, this has just boosted that dream up a few notches. Really incredible work, Oliver and I'm sure it will get the recognition it and yourself deserve.

This was crazy good my friend, summed up my excitement with living here in 6 minutes
  • Few times in YouTube history has there ever been anything more deserving of a like

Disclaimer. The commute to work as a londoner is not this epic.
  • Love the mood, especially the last few minutes. Glad you finally got this one done! So many different locations and scenes woven together
  • This was a really well made video, but it makes me feel a little uncomfortable. I don't want to give unnecessary criticism because it is a great piece of editing, however as someone who grew up in London, a lot seems to be missed when people think of what this city is like. There is an absence of any council estate, of any school - no Chicken shop, greasy spoon, bus stop or Kebab shop. I think for me, this video fails to show that London is somewhere that people grow up in - many of whom are working class. I also think that it is interesting that this video shows why London is such an amazing city - but for a lot of people that grew up in London, much of what is highlighted here is just not a part of their experience. This is I think most obvious when the video contains mostly young professional 20-30 somethings in the city being filmed as the ones experiencing - where those that are not in that category are something to be 'experienced' - an aspect of the eccentric or different that entertains those that come to visit, stay, work - and eventually leave. I didn't want to be so negative - sorry :) I think it just kind of hit a note with me and made me reflect that a lot of what I think makes London so interesting is the mix of cultures, but diversity is lost when age and class factor in to what is visible. It was a really well made video and I look forward to checking out your other content. - R²

Everything was good until the last moment, us Londoners are not that friendly on the Tube. 😂

This is a beautiful, breathtaking piece of work. It really encapsulates, as you set out to, the soul of the city, and any Londoner will watch with a swelling of pride. Well done.
  • When your're tired of London, your're tired of life. A very nice work of art btw. Well done.

This video deserves sooo much more attention... hope somehow the YouTube algorithm shows this video to more people... fascinating editing, showing the beauty of London... and the reason why I chose to stay in this city..based on a decision I made when I came here on a school trip..and now 5 years later.. living in this stressful yet so beautiful city
  • @Emiliotakas
I just watched it for the 5th time. Oliver there are simply no words to describe the way you create a masterpiece every time you grab your camera and then edit it. Amazing video!!
