This is real. I’ve been completely fucked over, I am blown away by the support. Do not attack anyone mentioned in the video please. I love making content for you guys, and this is easily the most real video I’ve ever made. I revere nothing but my family and closest friends. They are one in the same as this business. I will do everything in my power to keep the dream alive. Pt 2 coming soon.

after this video i realized all the men related to oompa sound almost exactly the same

As a lawyer, I see people ripped off all the time. There are always warning signs. Never enter into a big contract without first meeting the person face to face, visiting their workplace, speaking with their other clients. If you can’t afford to fly to meet them and visit their workshop/business, you can’t afford to enter into the contract. Definitely look at their previous work and speak to their former client’s, and know what questions you want to ask. If you are getting something built, visit the factory regularly. If you can (and you should be able to), stagger the payments so that you can see the work is getting done as you are paying. Finally, never contract a friend/internet acquaintance who is an up-and-coming professional to do professional work for you. That kind of thing is usually really hard, and inexperienced people generally don’t have the ability to do it. Please learn from this poor guy’s mistake.

Props to Will for sticking it out in what would have been a very hostile environment for a while there.
  • @CinnamonToastKen
Feeling a little broke rn. How about we start up a candy company buddy?
  • @willcallbeck0709
Its absolutely insane how Caleb is a mirror image of his dad down to the voice. Love you oompa, hope things turn around for you.
  • @DragonLady425
HUGE kudos to Will for being the ONLY decent and honest person in the whole story. That’s what brutal honesty and true integrity look like. He must have some badass family members!
  • @McD1ngle
The scariest part is the fact that Jake probably sent Wil there as the fall guy, he was not only gonna scam Caleb's business but was even willing to also have a innocent man take the blame for his scumbag actions.
  • @TsWn_Manimal
As a welder myself, I was beyond happy to see clint is a fellow member of the trade
  • @Haunteddoll_
It’s terrible that this happened, I don’t understand why someone would steal money from a candy company.
  • You cannot convince me that Caleb's dad in this isn't just Caleb in a costume.
  • @11Christys11
I’m so sorry this happened but Dads impression of Jake had me rolling. I hope justice is served in the end.
  • Big ups to Will, bro went from the most "useless" employee to literally saving the entire business. You can tell hes a very nice and genuine guy, so glad he ended up joining the team.
  • @kiarasimone123
The fact he can be so nonchalant about being scammed and still making the video funny to watch is insane. An absolute mad lad❤
  • @GiraffeGal1
Just recently discovered your content as I’m a KallMeKris fan. Watching this video made me really appreciate the strength of character you possess. Starting your own company including manufacturing - wow. Respect. So sorry you were betrayed by someone working for you. Glad you were able to overcome this adversity. Can’t wait to try your candy! (Which is currently sold out - congrats!)
  • @DJZebo
At 33:45 that sound that was over dubbed was from the beginning of Aphex Twin's "Alberto Balsam". Respect to whoever on the team did that. You are my kind of people.
  • @TrashbashMan
Dude seriously massive respect for taking Will under your wings, he got kicked to the curb and stabbed in the back just the same and the fact that you hold no grudges or ill will(funny pun moment) against him is commendable. Hope things get sorted and you guys turn a profit as soon as things are up and running
  • @aria6369
The worst thing is betrayal comes from a friend not an enemy.
  • @TheTexanTiger_
Never give money to anyone who plays gacha games or is obsessed with crypto. It's all a gambling obsession, theyre mentally compromised
  • @NickyDinger
Bought myself some of your candy today. Glad you're able to get the ball rolling despite all of this, and I'm so sorry this happened to you. You're such a bright soul, with a great team behind you, and none of you deserve this.
