ABOUT ANUPAM MITTAL:

Anupam Mittal is an Indian entrepreneur, business executive and angel investor.

He is the founder and CEO of People Group and Shaadi.com. Apart from starting Shaadi.com, an Indian online wedding service, he has also been a prominent investor in Shark Tank Season 1 , 2 and 3, investing in over 250 companies.

He was also the co-founder and chairperson of the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) from 2006 to 2007 and is currently on its Governing Council.

    Ended up like Neighbors but we can survive because IT industry is of 200 billion industry. I am from Pakistan and I think the same. We also need a good IT industry booming businesses which helps us in generating these powerful AI application like Sir Anupam G said. Anupam G is my favorite and inspiration.

  • There are global tech companies from India. Google has bought a few. The larger problem in India is the eco system is build for ‘dandha’ over creating an ecosystem where you see huge spends in experimentation and innovation. With significantly doing this from a grassroot level it’s tough to innovate. Wish VC’s invested in innovation as opposed to only a profitable model.
