This was a concept I had thought of probably close to a decade ago but never really followed through on until just now. In spite of the name, it is not Frankenstein themed. The name comes from it being a Frankenstein's monster of elements from various defunct coasters. I think it's safe to say this ride absolutely defies any sort of categorization.
The rides referenced in this layout are Drachen Fire, Son of Beast, Vortex, Moonsault Scramble, Greezed Lightnin', Wicked Twister, and Hypersonic XLC.

Track length: 9054.24 ft.
Change in elevation: 245.88 ft

bro the maintenance having to maintain what made all these coasters unreliable causing their removal would be a nightmare 💀
  • @lorenwhit
I like the lil ode to Moonsault Scramble as the batwing element on vortex

Love that you started with Drachen fire and ended with Hypersonic XLC two sorely missed coasters from both of my home parks great mashup. 🎢

I was verbally calling all of the coasters out and got them all right without looking at the description, FANTASTIC Job :)

I miss Hypersonic's cool shaping. This was fun to guess while going around, would definitely watch more of these.
  • Drachenfire, Son of Beast, Vortex, Moonsault Scramble, Vortex (again), Greazed Lightning, Wick Twist Dangling coaster, Hypersonic XLC.

Drachen Sontex Scramble Shuttle Twister XLC was awesome! 🎉

Rip vortex, i think it was still way better than anyone was giving it credit for

I would recommend making more of these videos, not necessarily with defunct coasters, but just coasters in general. Maybe do parts of every B&M invert or something like that!

The backwards twisted spike made me giggle because I was expecting Montezumas back spike for some reason LOL
  • @Coasterpostalt
It was fun to ride and try to get every coaster refrence correct!

Interesting idea. IMMEDIATELY liking this for including most of Vortex's layout

Dude Son of Beast, Moonsault Scramble, Wicked Twister that's crazy

I've ridden 4 and a half of these in real life: Drachen Fire, Vortex, Wicked Twister, and Hypersonic XLC. I never rode Greazed Lightnin', but I DID ride King Kobra at Kings Dominion, which was the same ride -- a weight-drop Schwartzkopf shuttle looper from the 70s. Drachen Fire was alright, but kinda rough. It felt like Arrow trying to build a B&M (and failing). Hypersonic XLC had the most intense launch of any coaster ever. I know it only reached 80mph, but its launch was far more intense than any LIM or hydraulic launch, including Top Thrill Dragster.

Another mashup idea: a ride that just takes all the greatest airtime moments around the world and puts them into one coaster. Maverick’s first hill. Skyrush. Phantom’s Revenge finale. Kondaa’s first two elements. Etc
  • Awesome! I love how you replaced Vortex’s batwing with Moonsault Scramble
