Well as you can tell by the title... yes i gave the aqua Vu another shot, and yes i did catch fish. Not many fish as you can see how many truly did come around the area i was fishing, however it is a blast seeing them approach the baits and bite them. However, i did notice myself fishing differently when watching the camera, and not focusing on working the technique properly causing many fish not to bite. Dont get hypnotized by the camera as the slightest wrong movement in the technique can shy a fish away.

Hope you enjoyed this video, it got cut short due to Severe winds reaching up to 65km/hr BUT we made the most out of it and got a few to take the high hook.

  • The frustration in the first 4 minutes sums up my entire season chasing whitefish. Marking more than I can count and that’s about it 😂
  • More tips, more tricks. Love videos that are educational. Thanks Joey

love the release on the white fish! VERY rare to see that
  • Great video. What I did to my clam for windy days is installed an eye bolt in the back corners with washers so I can anchor the hut down with straps, put the anchors about 4' away but on a 45 degree then strap it. The hut can't move and I install an anchor at the front inside the hut and twist the handle over the bar. Never flipped up since.

Great Video Joey, thanks for putting this up. Great to see them come in like that and just turn away sometimes. Just noticed the amount of what looks like Zebra mussels, if that's what they are. Unreal numbers!
  • Some absolute dingers in this vid! Aqua vu makes it so fun to watch

The fish hate those cameras man! LOL We have to mark about 50 fish to catch 15 with a camera down. I feel your pain! The footage of the fish once it snapped your line was crazy! I was your 100th Like!

Ouch! Feeling your pain with that Whitie swimming off with your lures. Also, thanks for sharing the Windfinder app, never though of downloading one but that will definitely help me keep track of winds out there.
  • Good video as always Joey. Check up hooks rusting out in fresh water. They take months or even longer. I hooked a brown on opener in a tiny creek and it broke me off. I caught that brown in July with my hook and the mesh from the roe bag still in its lip. Not a spot of rust on the hook and it was a number ten. Good news is fish are very good at shaking out hooks. 👍🏻

Awesome video as usual, your enthusiasm is always contagious! So much so, in fact, that we are planning to go searching for whitefish on Simcoe ourselves this weekend. Never caught one before! We are coming down from Georgian Bay, is there anywhere (preferably north side) you can recommend we try?

Great video as always Joey. Hoping to get up there before she closes to bang a few. Tight-lines.
  • Great vid and call to get off when you did. Guess you don't peg your hut down. Maybe worth considering.
  • Hey Joey! Love the videos. I hear what you mean about camera gear. What cameras do you run?
