I want to sit next to you at an Angelina Jordan concert.

I predict that at some time in the future, probably after I'm gone, there will be a Major motion picture or many of her rise to the pinnacle of stardom. They would have so much material to work with. She is likely the most documented superstar ever! Of course, long before then, she will be a household name - one of those artists known by one name "Angelina". i.e., the G.O.A.T!

Three versions on u tube,one with just piano, all are fantastic.

Toby is quoted in a Japanese journal today saying, “Working with Angelina has been nothing short of inspiring. Her ability to channel profound emotion through her voice adds a whole new depth to the song.” And this was his introduction of Angelina in The London Palladium, “But, what’s better than seeing the best superstar in the world perform a song is seeing the next best superstar the world hasn’t discovered yet, please welcome Angelina Jordan.”

I’ve been hoping for a performance that had a legit mainstream shot. THIS one - and that OTHER one ;) - could be the start of something big(er)! I well-up and am near tears each time I listen to either version; happy, that she’s finally collaborating with such a successful artist. Thanks, Boudy, for keeping “Mondays” alive, even during lulls. Success is not linear and Her amazing body of work gives plenty to consider along the way. Can’t wait for your take on the “other” version!

Angelina’s exquisite talent and vocal’s allows her to tell the story of the song so the listener can feel the emotions behind the lyrics! She just showcased the audience her vocal abilities effortlessly! Toby Gad the cowriter is at the piano! Angelina and Toby are collaborating on original music and one will be released in a few months called Bad Valentine! 🇳🇴🇺🇸 Boudy there are three other live versions of the song one in Los Angles and the other two in London, one at the Palladium Theatre and the other at the Ivors Awards with an interview! They did one with more instrumentation and the one for Piano Diaries! There also appears to be a separate music video which hasn’t been released!

They performed it at a club in LA prior to going to London, that had a cello, violinist and piano with Angelina in street clothes. Then in London they performed this and then this video which is simply amazing. To me, it sounds like a Enya song with just a couple instruments and a great voice
