I like how Otto immediately softens up when he sees that he is fighting the wrong Peter. He seems confused and surprised and also a bit heartbroken.

It goes to show you how skilled Tobey is. He was able to keep up with Doc Ock despite not having the Stark Technology.

I was really worried about the greenscreen CGI replacing the original practical effects, but whoever animated this scene deserves a highfive and a major raise. Well freaking done.

One thing I love about this scene is how, unlike Spider-man 2, Doc Ock's human body doesn't take repeated strikes to the head and just keep going. As far as I can see, Ock himself only gets hit twice here (at 3:32 and 3:46), and both of them are Spider-man jumping onto his chest and kicking away rather than landing a proper hit. This fits in nicely with Ock's extremely aggressive fighting style, where he has to dominate the pace and keep his opponent on the backfoot because he's a glass cannon and is doomed if he actually trades blows. One thing I didn't love is at 3:05 when he gets slammed into the dean's car window hard enough to knock the entire car halfway through the concrete barrier, but apparently not hard enough to actually break the glass.
