The brain going into safe mode thing makes so much sense to me! I’ve wondered if I’m autistic for over a decade now, and there are times when I just need to decompress and be alone and this is the perfect way of wording it. It also makes sense why I can sometimes handle something throwing off my routine (if my brain is “on”) or if it’ll end in a meltdown (because I was in “safe mode”)

Yay another enjoyable vlog and I like hearing about how you function. I am constantly learning about adhd & autism. I think the dirty dish cupboard is a great hack. It’s the same as putting dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turning it on at the end of the day. How cute was Ella, and Obie and Jinjo playing at the end of the video. I saw my card that I made you for your birthday on display, it looked so pretty. 😊
