Anyone with a jewelry shop or selling jewelry should love all the hearts and little trees and all the glass stuff especially the watches

We had all different kinds of decorations like those hummingbirds at our local dollar store before Christmas. I got a penguin, a bear, a seagull, a rocking horse.

I liked that sort of knick-knack box, especially the octopus. (:

Fun fact. If a pocket watch has a little window in the front it is called a Half Hunter. If it no window at all it is called a Full Hunter. If it has no cover it is called an Open Face. A Double Hunter and a Double Half Hunter open back and front to show off the intricacies of the mechanism. Sometimes the covers opened out to create a stand. The original reason for the covers was to protect the dial of the watch which used to be made out of porcelain or ivory. These days, unless you buy an expensive mechanical windup watch, the backs open just to put the battery in.
