  • Hey, I want to thank you for your info on SCS. I just had mine put in yesterday and after watching your video's I had them put my unit higher and since I have leads in my neck and leads in my lumbar. So like I said thank you for the videos and info!
  • Good news for me on August 2nd I got my official date for my implant. I go on August 16 at Grandview hospital in Birmingham Alabama.
  • Yea I’ve had to start wearing looser shorts the last few days. I had on a pair of shorts the other day that were a little tight. They fell below my waistline when I sat down and it caused my implant to be pushed upwards. Felt like my incision was gonna rip open. Haven’t been able to wear a belt since my permanent. Also have to go get reprogrammed. Last Saturday I had a blowout on the interstate and roadside assistance would have taken 2 hours so I had to change my tire. After I was done I immediately felt a change in my stimulation. Hope it’s a easy fix. Hope you start feeling better also and can get some good sleep soon.

5 weeks yesterday for my Metronic SCS full install, and have noticed upper back pain like between my shoulder blades. Maybe its as you feel it may be the leads placement in the upper spine creating the issue, also note i am still in the beginning process of programing? Thanks for your updates, very helpful. :)

Did you have a history of excess scar tissue growth or keloids? I have both, so any surgery, back and both hips replaced, I have excess scar tissue under the skin and bigger visible scars. I am a little worried about scar tissue growth with my upcoming implant.
  • Yea, I am leaning towards NOT getting this. I have seen too many complaints in my research.
