YES YES YES YES, A MILLION TIMES YES! THIS WAS SOOO WORTH THE WAIITTTT! EVERY ONE OF YOUR ANIMATIONS IS OUTSTANDING AND IM SO GLAD YOU’RE AN ANIMATOR AAAA! AHAHAHAAHEm, capitals begon. This animation continues to use the same brilliant techniques along with plenty of more new things which are all blowing my minddddd! The background game definitely cranked up in this meme. Every shot has its background to set the tone, give a sense of time passing, and to help describe the camera angles of the drawing like at 0:28. It’s not only well-drawn, but it also has awesome textures like the smooth pillars of where Mira hangs around, the rough inconsistent dirt on the ground, and the little spots on the bushes; it really helps to bring these elements apart and bring them to life! Also, all of this isn’t here just to look it, it actually has fricken lore! I said this before, but there are gems on the pillar designs which we definitely see somewhere in the storyy! And the flags are from the warr! The first background is really dark and spooky and appears to occur near a sunset, which sometimes symbolizes the end or start of a remarkable event. You can feel the wind rushing through the flags from the war as they energetically waveee. It’s a really serious and epic vibe. The greener background feels so casual and happy, like it’s just an ordinary day. The vines hugging around really describe how long the pillars were standing there, so we know that it has been a while after the incident. The ruin-looking area is surrounded by plants, which makes so much sense thanks to the detail of the sunrays in the top left corner; it’s where they’re getting the sunlight weee! The camera shots took you on an adventure with how unique the angles were! Even though it’s an animation, you still include the focusing, blur, flashing, and flares to give of that realistic aesthetic! The animation is phenomenal once again! I can’t imagine how many layers it took to not only do the itty bits of each object and character, but to even put those objects in a composition for panning and inclusiveness! Look at 0:08 with Mira in front of the pillar with two of her tails behind all moving and acting like one! Must take a lot of workkkk! So much detail went into this like the disintegration of the three tails at the end. The “Ima loser,” part is awesomeeee! Love how Mira bobbed and landed right on time with “Loser,” landing after the “Looo” part. Thank goodness Mira has three thingies on her fins XD that’s such a brilliant L! The little bounce with that winky smile is so adorable I canntt aaaaaaaaaaaa! My favourite part was when Mira held the two apprentices by the strings and appears to kills them 0:21 - 0:24 . Mira’s fins look all twisted and charged up to blast them apart as she does in the next shot, killing the fish and leaving the strings visibly dangling around from the impact. Her tail even continues to move, so fun to look atttt. The cherry on top goes back to the camera details; the slow panning out to put the viewer at ease, then suddenly zoom in and have a flash to leave them completely shocked, then stopping all actions so they can process what in the world happened. Look at Mira’s evil grin aaa! Speaking of evil grin, the expressions are dazzling! Even the poses alone say so much like the beginning as they ominously look into the distance not fazed at all. Love that adorable sigh at the ruins; they’re having such a wonderful nostalgia trip XD . Their droopy closed eyes really show how relaxed/tired they aree after the sigh. I’m just gonna quickly mention the beginning with the constricted pupils of evil, the uneased expression at 0:15 because of the spears, Mira’s carefree attitude leaving the ruins, and the scawy serious ominous face when they held the strings, because expression yes yes yes. Can we talk about the timing of the story to the song? Like how when Mira picked up the artifacts to restore them, the lyrics “I’m a loser,” begins XD It’s funny because Mira’s fixing the things that could kill her pfffff ------------------------------------------------- Even though the story has been told, there is still a lot to unfolddddd. So the two divine beings visited King Gilbert in his dreams huh? Why that very moment? Well, we know the artifacts got repaired which held the power to summon the weapon, and the divine beings arrived to give the sword. I wonder if they were able to arrive in the dream any earlier without the artifacts. Maybe the divine beings waited to have concrete proof that the dream is real showing the weapon, and there wasn’t anything you could’ve done earlier anyway. Why am I talking about the divine beings in dreams? Well, maybe it has a connection to Marine’s dream in the comic. That’s why I’m on the idea that it doesn’t take the artifacts for the divine beings to visit dreams, otherwise this theory wouldn’t work. Were the divine beings responsible for igniting the memories of Pyre and Marine? Maybe they were trying to help them take down Mira? Actually, now that I think about it, I’m not sure how a dream about an abyss is gonna help anythin- … What’s in the abyss? I’m sure no one could find anything there…. not without a little guidance… I dunnooooooooooooo…. Seems like something worth checkingggg aaaaaa….. Enough about dreams, what else is there to note? Ah yesss, the legendary fightttt! Notice how the king only wears the light magic crown, how come? I’m guessing it’s because it’s what the king thought Mira was weak to. Back at 0:14 the King had Mira stuck, or at least that’s what he thought. Also, with the spears, it does seem to be a entourage that focuses on light magic. It’s also possible that light magic users aren’t able to wear the dark magic crown because of compatibility reasons. Still wondering how Mira took both artifacts if the King only wore one, but maybe it’s just an off camera thing. I know we all saw the stars turn black, what’s up with that? The only thing we know about Mira related to magic type is that she incorporates both light and dark magic. The sword is said to drain any magic no matter how strong the opponent, implying that one hit is more than enough to drain the magic. So maybe Mira was able to tank a hit using her light magic side, which then forced the white magic from the stars to “drain” and turn black. Another guess is that Mira switched the stars herself for the fight, to become more aggressive and finally defeat the King. Mira did smile when the stars changed colours, so it could be intentional for her. ------------------------------------------------- I know my guesses can be completely off, but I just wanted to share my thoughts on the situation. Opaline, as far as I can tell, this is a prologue to a future animated series because you have so much talent and this whole story has so much potential and I just want moreeeeeeeeee!!!!! Thank you so much for being an animator for usss. Story story storyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! I’d tell you to keep being awesome Opaline, but I know you will.
