I was living in So.California from 1980-84 and saw Scorpions many times live….including the US Festival 83 2nd day, which they ruled. This band gave 1000 percent every show. Those were the days.

Matthias Jabs style of guitar playing is what got me hooked with the Scorpions. I love the entire band, but it was his style that caught my attention.

SCORPS are epic ... along with Sabbath, Priest , UFO, Rainbow then later MSG and DIO they were the Heavy Metal sounds of our time.

My friend and I were invited to meet them on their tour bus after a show in Atlanta in the 1990’s. We had a friend in the music business that arranged it. Wow! They were ALL so nice and had their wives/girlfriends sitting there too. I told Klaus, that I would love to hear “As Soon As The Good Times Roll” in concert and he said “You like that one do you”. They offered us refreshments, we declined and they signed a poster. We didn’t stay long but I was so happy they were not unpleasant and didn’t rush us to leave, we left on our own, they were just so nice, a perfect meeting… my husband and I are going to 2 shows in Vegas, Love At First Sting is my favorite album. We saw them at the Grand ole Opry in Nashville in 2016. They are the Best! Just wanted to share how nice they were . Rock On Everyone 😀.

I can remember this night! I was 13 years old and it was a real fight to explain my parents me sitting the hole night at TV to look all this fantastic bands, specially The Scorpions. They are from lower saxony like me, only 60 km away! At this time, as a young guitar player, Matthias was and is one of my heroes! 🤘👍🔥
