Not breaking your back to make someone else rich is a rational response when you know your "reward" will be more work and a below inflation payrise (if you're lucky). We're told we should accept that companies will only ever act in their own best interests yet the Tories have a hissy fit when workers do the same. The hypocrisy is astonishing.

Those "EU regulations" she wants to remove are the Working Rights Laws- pay, conditions, pension, equality etc- she does indeed want us to be a sweatshop of low pay.

Yes Liz, China, that place that is well known for it's 'honest day of pay for an honest week of work earning it'. Liz, the UK is not a sweatshop, and if you think we need to be more like China your understanding of Western economics is sorely lacking.
