We received the new Xfinity gate by mail, and it comes with the power supply and a coax cable. In case we are replacing an older gateway, then we can simply reuse the exist coax cable and do not need the new one.
Make sure to install the Xfinity app on your phone (available for iPhone and Android), and log in with your personal account credentials.
The entire process takes about 20 minutes and it usually includes a firmware update of the new Gateway. The gateway performs this update automatically, without user interaction. We just have to wait for the process to complete. Make sure not to disconnect the gateway during this process.

Do I need to have the internet connection to set up the Rogers ignite?

During the replacement, was there an option within the app to keep the existing WiFi settings (WiFi name and password) and put on new router? This way, I donβt have to reconnect all the devices to the new router.

Does this new gateway also replace the router?

My problem is that when I connect a Bluetooth headphone and select the same headphone for both output and input voice, only the voice input works in the game, and the output doesn't. This means my laptop is unable to perform both tasks with the same headphone at the same time. (plz reply bro plz)

I don't have a cellphone so I can't download the app. Now what, is there another option?
