Small glitch at 14:26!! Or just user error 😄 Cut it off somehow. My bad! Simply right click and apply grade, or middle mouse on the PowerGrade to apply to any clip going forwards!
  • @thedaver8
with the Color Management tip, if you are using the same camera and color space from project to project, you can set color space input and output in advance and then just save that as the Default project settings for future projects!

    Bonus tip to 18:32 is in the File Name field type % and it inserts inbuilt variables to dynamically name files on Rendering, saving them in the preset helps a lot with Organisation. An EG of one is Mine %{Timeline Name}%{Project Name}_%{Render Resolution}_%{Render Codec}_%{Date Modified}

I love instruction guides that include the step 'go put the kettle on'

Great video as always! By the way the proxy generator is also a watcher: if you add videos to a folder into the proxy generator it will start converting the new clips by itself in the background. Very handy for bigger or longer projects 😊

Even after 2 years you have tipps I didn‘t know before. Thanks for that
  • @davetriesthis
Your previous "option does everything" was the most helpful ever.

I just enjoy your videos, useful and above all understandable. Many thanks 👍👍
  • @GuyGoesGreen
It may seem silly, but tips like the location of "close project" can be useful. I had no idea where it was! Thanks for the tips

Hi Mister Alex, could I ask you a request? Please make series of full tutorial video on how to edit like Vox, Magnatesmedia, Ali Abdaal, Iman Gadzi, and Mr. Beast in Davinci resolve. That would be awesome! Thank you 🙏😊
  • @bigbigsquid
Thank you for the Dynamic Project Switching Tip! It boils my corn wondering why that is so hidden. 😃❤️🎉😺
  • @GlowBright333
10 for 10! Thanks, needed them all. Including the silly how to close instead of exiting. Looking for a project was open...wait...exit...open...wait...exit.
  • @mahera1950
Dynamic Project Switching. My tip of the day. Thanks Alex.
  • @hiepsolo
Great video, 10/10 with no reason!

My mind immediately went to the wrong place with the 'i love a quick tip' comment then it was followed by 'being better in bed' 😂 this combination made me snort so hard, a bit of snot came out. Quality content as usual sir Alex 👏
