Gazelle really upped their game. A viable alternative to a Reise and Meuller.

I’m so excited, I’ve ordered this bike from your store and I’m just waiting on it to be delivered. Great video!

Love to be Dutch, we have such variety of good bicycle manufacturers for over a century and the best infrastructure in the world. 🇳🇱🚲
  • The versatility aspect that you mention. Commuting, running errands, touring, hitting some lighter trails. This is what I wanted from my single bike and that's why I ended up with a Moustache Xroad 2 smart system. Does everything I want to do with my bike. This Gazelle bike is a really solid option! Glad to see you back!

I bought my mother's Gazelle Citizen 3 years ago. A great e-bike. She used it on holiday's in the mountain. It has a 'mountainbike' feel. I use it for my daily commute. No hills, but plenty of wind. Saves me two work weeks in commute time every year :)

Your reviews are a breath of fresh air. I'm the trike guy but still enjoy seeing how the quality bikes are evolving. Thanks

I just did a testdrive with this bike yesterday, and I think I’m going to purchase it. However, I did find that the saddle was quite hard. A different saddle and suspension seatpost are necessary, in my opinion. Once again a fantastic video, Propel!

I’ve tried this bike out myself. I love this bike. This bike is an absolute serve. I have the previous Gazelle C380+ HMB. It’s so low maintenance. It’s my go to bike here in NYC. Highly recommend the Gazelle Eclipse which is the 2024 version of my bike.

I have a gazelle c380+ ultimate, and the only thing I’d change is make it low step instead of mid step. Personally I’m never buying a bike without a belt again, it’s a total game changer. The one issue I have with gazelle bikes is that the rear rack is not MIK compatible, so you’ll need an adaptor for even first party accessories.

I test rode this bike while my Nevo 3 was being serviced the Gazelle Eclipse is a fabulous riding bike and very handsome. Lovely bike much thought planning and meticulous execution went into the Eclipse.

Nice bike, I love the design. I like that they put good tires on it, these Schwalbe Efficiency's look like really fast tires.
  • Nice bike, and I’m glad European brands are recognizing riders in the US want class 3 e-bikes. Could do without that proprietary stem though. Ones that feed cables and hoses through are more difficult to work with when you need to replace one. Looks more sleek, but at a price. Edit: I forgot to say it’s good seeing an ebike review from you again!

I bought my Gazelle Ultimate 8, three years ago. Works like a charm. Just passed 25 000 kilometers. This will be an interesting watch, no doubt.

I hope this bike will make it to Australia. I have owned a Gazelle Orange C7+ for more than 7 years and am looking to upgrade.
  • As a bike shop owner you will know the answer to this. I think it could be a great video to make as well. You mentioned in this one that the Enviolo adds around $500 to the price but has less maintenance. What are the maintenance costs for eBikes across the different drivetrains? I've got a Rohloff for 4 years now with zero drivetrain costs since and 8000 miles. What would a similar derailleur eBike under load cost to keep up over 4 years?

Another great review, Chris! Thanks 🙂
  • Great looking bike. Looks very similar to my R&M Nevo with belt and variable assistance. I would be interested in a comparison (not that I am thinking of changing anytime soon). As an overweight 64 year old I love my bike and as I live in the hills in the UK could not consider a non assisted bike. A different note Good to see you releasing content again. I particularly like your considered approach to transport. Cars are not bad, but we do need to try to separate the two modes of transport infrastructure for cyclist safety. This is particularly difficult in the UK as we are a small island that we were largely built for horse transport. But is Holland can do it then so can we. Keep up the good work.

Great work Chris and Tara. So many great shots riding and features. And such a complete review. Great edit! Well done.

Wow, that's a great sounding bike!
