ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor while maintaining appropriate language for all ages, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I just got the 2-pack versions of these figures and I’m glad I waited honestly because they were super easy to find, but a little bit expensive. I’m so glad to have these! The only turtles I’ll ever need! I’m not interested in the cartoon versions for various reasons. Can’t express how awesome it is to have these dudes in my collection.

Great review. Those are truly awesome!! They literally look like they jumped right off the movie screen. It's almost creepy how lifelike they are. The only thing that would make them even better, is if people could actually buy them. LOL

This and Reeves Superman are pretty much legendary. Hands down NECA is the king for getting these out and sculpting them to look the way they do which is 99.9% screen accurate.

I managed to just grab them the other day. My local EbGames, in Canada, just randomly received them in. I am so glad to have them. They are definitely my favorite representation of the turtles. Thanks for the review, as always.

LMAOO when you compared these to the Playmates ones! Wow those look like a joke compared to NECA’s NECA did such a fan flipping tastic job with these, they look so lifelike. I’m also surprised by the amount of articulation packed in these. Great review man, you’re so lucky to get them as a review sample Also, was that little moment in the stop motion when Raph stomps his foot a reference to him losing his Sai in the film (“damn!”)

Although this are limited, these are hands down my most favorite figures released this year! I’m getting mine on Tuesday, excellent review as always.

this takes me back to when i had the first turtle toys that were made of rubber and not plastic and looked just like the movie turtles, i loved those figures back in the day and these look just like them.

I just got my shipping notification! These figures are legend. I had the posters for the first two movies in my room as a kid and the movie on VHs. I watched it all the time. Can't wait to get these!
