The Dragon of Riddles - an original DnD Song / Chant

Lyrics, music and performance by Angelina Kontini

Today I stumbled upon a poem I wrote, after a DnD session where I had an intense role play with a dragon. I decided to sing the poem with my ukulele. I hope you like it!

lyrics:

THE DRAGON OF RIDDLES

I stand before you, with one request
Look into and through me, interpret my quest

Whence does your power come from, o Dragon?
Your gold and your wings?
They truly reflect the moon and the abyss.

I stand now before you, absorbed in your power
Frozen in time but deeply empowered

A silent roar, a loud whisper
Who gave you the magic to change the universe?

I stand right before you and witness your gaze,
as now you talk in my mind's maze.

Suddenly, lo! The tree of wishes appears,
The dragon is gone, and so are my fears.
