FWB - Today I'm giving you an INSIDE LOOK into the lighting studio to show you how I shoot clothes for resale. You can use these techniques for any number of platforms from Grailed to eBay, Herione, Poshmark, Tradesy, you name it.

Since I'm starting a new job soon I wanted to take a moment to document this process and In the second part of the video I include how I edit the photos and how I keep detailed records when you're working with a private client.
Let me know what questions you have! Maybe I will make more how to videos in the future on this subject, possibly I'll go into more detail about directly using Grailed or even cover other platforms.

Where's the part where you buy smelly old Number (Nine) and Undercover jackets on Rakuten and sell them for a $200 markup as ARCHIVAL clothing?

Another tip that's worth throwing out there is to CLEAN your stuff before you take pictures of it. This especially applies to shoes, just give the outsole a quick wipe down and check the upper for any dirt or gunk you could take off. If you're selling a shirt or a pair of pants that's been sitting in your closet for months, giving it a quick iron will make it look much nicer. It doesn't take that much effort to make your stuff more presentable and it can result in a lot more interest in your listings as well as considerably higher offers.

Do you do any market research at all? Or just sell whatever you have around or think might sell? I’d like to see what’s trending but I don’t use social media so I have no idea where to start lol

nice vid thx! anyone knows how some of the sellers are able to relist an item again with a new price but without losing its current followers? are they able to do it because theyre grailed trusted sellers or is there some trick? thank you!
