I can't understate just how much Animal Crossing New Horizons means to me. This was the game that got me through the first Covid Lockdown, and it's one of my favourite games I've played. I've over 600 hours spent on my island at this point, and many important memories with this game. I'm really thankful to have it in my life.

I haven't thought about Dan playing Animal Crossing since his last video on it, yet the moment I saw this my mind immediately thought "I wonder if Boone's grave is still there"... Suffice it to say, that Dan has made a very wholesome impression when it comes to associating this game with him

As someone who hasn't messed with dream islands at all since New Leaf I'm glad people are upholding the tradition of continuing to create weird unsettling shit for no reason other than to freak out whoever visits <3

The Ikea island makes me think of my first and only experience with the dream feature, I just had it choose a random island and it sent me to "DIGIMON". EVERY SQUARE INCH of the island was covered in random furniture and the lag was unlike anything I have ever seen in Animal Crossing, especially since my game crashed after looking around in pure confusion. This island has and will occupy some part of my brain for a long time.

I’m genuinely convinced that the IKEA island is an abandoned item trading market island from back in the game’s prime. If it is then it’s a fascinating look into how those places ended up after most part stopped playing the game.
