Cory is a fine racer. He’s been ridiculed and questioned a bunch lately. Glad to see him run well Friday and Sunday.

Great win for the Todd Shaffer family or Cory Eliason's in-laws. Cory Eliason was engaged to Todd Shaffer's daughter a few years ago so I am assuming that he and she are married by now. Todd Shaffer's wife and daughter were selling Cory Eliason merch late last year. For those of you that don't know of Todd Shaffer he was a great PA Posse driver in the 1990s and 2000s.

Considering the drivers Hefner has had: Dewease, Pittman, Hodnett, Borden, Walker, Shaffer....................., Troy Wagaman Jr. seems an unlikely successor. But, if you embrace a driver, and believe in him. He can rise above his preconceived abilities and surprise you. Wagaman damn near took that win. And he wasn't too shy to try. Macri looked out to lunch. I'm not convinced that team is fixed.
